Plastisols
Plastisol is a thick, flexible, PVC based paint system, particularly suited to the construction industry due to its excellent corrosion resistance and colour retention.
Available in a standard 200 micron thick coating, this material has a guarantee of up to 30 years with little or no maintenance required, often lasting a great deal longer.
A wide range of colours are available from our standard stocks in 0.5mm and 0.7mm, but other gauges are available by request.
The Leathergrain emboss is particularly popular, as any small surface defects caused in manufacture are easily hidden within the emboss itself.
Benbow Steels stocks the full range of standard leathergrain colours. The majority of our leathergrains are supplied by Arcelor, from the same production mill as used by Kingspan for their XL Forte range of products and as such provide an excellent colour match.
The Corus Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra embossed plastisol is now backed by the Corus Confidex guarantee of up to 40 years.
Double sided material and a special 150 micron coating are also available on request.
